Upcoming Events

The group generally meets once a month at Lower Knapp Farm near Coaley. Days run from around 10am to about 5pm with delicious cooked lunch provided (a donation of around £5 covers lunch and goes towards equipment for the group).

If you’ve not been along before please contact Jo for directions etc. We can pick up from Cam & Dursley station if you’re arriving by train.

Past Events

Saturday January 12th – bodging day at Lower Knapp Farm. Jon Warwicker from London group will be visiting. Usual mix of activities, likely some spoon carving and a large lunch.bodgers-lunch-jan2013

And a fine lunch it was too. A cold day so mostly spent whittling in the barn with the food and wood stove keeping us all warmish.

Spoonfest – 17-19 August 2012

Jo and Dave Cockcroft are attending Spoonfest – the first international celebration of the carved wooden spoon.

Frampton Country Fair – all day Sunday 9 Sept 2012

We will be having a stand at Frampton Country Fair to demonstrate green woodwork, peg loom and spoon carving.

A chance for members to display their work and have items for sale if they wish to.

Should be fun day out and no doubt plenty of cake.
